Homemade milk liqueur

Homemade milk liqueur is an elegant blend of gentle milk, sweet sugar, and invigorating vodka enriched with citrus notes of orange. Inspired by European liqueur traditions, this drink has a soft and enveloping taste with a velvety and pleasant texture. During infusion, the liqueur gains complexity in aromas, revealing subtle hints of dairy and fruity notes. It is perfect as a standalone dessert drink or as part of cocktails. Especially good when paired with coffee or chocolate desserts. This liqueur is a cozy accent for any evening, warming and inviting slow enjoyment of its flavor.

1
Warm milk is mixed with sugar until dissolved, then vodka and finely chopped orange are added. Instead of orange, another citrus or a mix of citrus can be used.

- Oranges: 1 piece
2
We pour everything into a glass container with a tightly closing lid.
3
We keep the liqueur in a cool, dark place for 10 days, shaking the bottle every day.
4
After the expiration date - the liqueur is ready. We strain it through cheesecloth several times - at least three (The more times it's strained, the clearer and purer the liqueur).
