Peel the ginger and cut it into large pieces.

Bring 850 ml of water to a boil, add spices, ginger, and sugar, and stir until the sugar dissolves.

- Bay leaf: 1 piece
- Cinnamon: 1 g
- Carnation: 1 g
- Cardamom: 3 g
- Sugar: 30 g
- Ginger root: 20 g
