Sea buckthorn tea with honey

5 minutes
Sea buckthorn and honey often go together, here their bright taste is enhanced by tea tannins. Black tea is almost not felt in such a composition, but the character of the drink becomes steeper.

1
We sort the sea buckthorn, clean it from debris, wash it in a colander, and let the water drain.
- Sea buckthorn: 150 g
2
We turn about 100 g of sea buckthorn into puree using a potato masher or pestle. If you are using frozen berries, it's better to pour a little boiling water over them to make mashing easier. You can also add sugar at this stage if you are not using honey.
- Sea buckthorn: 150 g
- Boiling water: 600 ml
3
We put the sea buckthorn puree in the teapot, add the remaining whole berries and black tea.
- Sea buckthorn: 150 g
- Black leaf tea: 2 tablespoons
4
Pour boiling water and let it steep for 7 minutes. Stir gently. Add 1 teaspoon of honey to the cups (more or less can be used). Pour the tea through a strainer and stir the honey until fully dissolved.
- Boiling water: 600 ml
- Flower honey: 2 tablespoons
