Cypriot coffee is a true symbol of Cypriot traditions, reflecting a unique blend of simplicity and rich flavor. This drink, rooted in Greek cuisine, is prepared using a special method of multiple boiling to reveal the full depth of coffee aroma. The delicate balance between the strength of ground coffee and the sweetness of sugar makes it an ideal morning or evening drink. The addition of grappa gives it a spicy note, turning ordinary coffee enjoyment into a gastronomic discovery. Coffee is served in small cups and sipped slowly, allowing one to savor each sip. This drink is not just coffee but a whole ritual that brings people together in warm conversations and cozy meetings.

1
Pour coffee and sugar into a cup, add a small amount of hot water, and mix everything thoroughly.
- Ground coffee: 2 teaspoons
- Sugar: 2 teaspoons
2
Pour the resulting liquid into a small cezve, add cold water. The volume of water should be approximately the same as that of the coffee-sugar mixture. Place the cezve on low heat and wait for its contents to start boiling.
- Ground coffee: 2 teaspoons
- Sugar: 2 teaspoons
3
Remove the cezve from the heat, add more cold water. It's better if the amount of water is the same as the first time. Place the cezve back on the heat and wait for it to boil again.
4
Repeat the procedure of adding water and boiling until the turk is full. After adding a new portion of cold water, be sure to mix it with the coffee already in the turk.
5
If desired, at the final boiling stage, you can add a teaspoon of grape vodka to the cezve.
- Grappa: 10 ml
