Cranberry liqueur is a traditional drink of Russian cuisine, characterized by a rich sweet-and-sour taste and deep berry aroma. Historically, this drink was popular among the Russian nobility as cranberries were considered a beneficial and valuable berry. The uniqueness of the liqueur lies in its long infusion process that reveals a wealth of flavor nuances. Cranberries combined with citrus zest give the drink freshness and a subtle tartness, while sugar syrup balances the strength of vodka, making the drink smooth. This liqueur is perfect for leisurely evenings in cozy company, especially in winter when one wants to warm up and enjoy the rich taste of natural ingredients. It is served in small glasses and often accompanied by light snacks or desserts.
