Christmas Mulled Wine

Christmas mulled wine is a warming drink from Germany that has become a symbol of winter holidays. Its history dates back to the Middle Ages when hot spiced wine was served at fairs during the cold season. The classic recipe combines red dry wine with spices like cinnamon, cloves, and nutmeg, creating a rich aroma and deep flavor. Adding apples, oranges, and honey gives the drink a light fruity sweetness and softness. It's important not to let the mulled wine boil to preserve its rich bouquet. Served hot with gingerbread cookies, it creates an atmosphere of coziness and celebration. This drink is perfect for winter evenings when one desires warmth and a magical mood.
