The queen of mojito is mint. It is better to take mint with a sweet aroma, but you can also use peppermint, with it the taste of the cocktail will be bolder. You do not need to crush the mint strongly (this is a typical mistake when mint is pureed) - it is enough for the juice and smell to appear, they will immediately be transferred to the drink. If there is no lime nearby, it can be replaced with lemon, but it is still better to use lime - it has a slight bitterness that creates a balance with sweet soda, and lemon does not have it. Another important point: if you have a powerful blender, you can turn the ice in it so that it turns into a spring porridge. But if you mix mojito not in glasses, but in large volumes, throw ice cubes into it: crushed ice melts quickly, and very soon instead of a vigorous "The cocktail in the jug will contain sweetish water.
