Prepare royal jam from gooseberries. Clean the gooseberries from the stems, cut each berry on the side, and remove the seeds.
- Gooseberry: 1 kg

Place a walnut and a partition from the nut inside each berry. Boil syrup from 1 kilogram of sugar and 500 ml of water. Pour hot syrup over the berries, add anise, and bring to a boil. Remove from heat and transfer to a sterilized jar. Cool down, cover with a lid, and store in the refrigerator.
- Walnuts: 500 g
- Sugar: 1 kg
- Anise (star anise): 2 pieces

Prepare a cocktail. Pour vodka into a shaker, add lemon juice and 20 ml of royal jam. Shake and strain into a chilled glass.
