Slice (or grate) fresh ginger.
- Fresh ginger: 2 tablespoons

Pour water into a small pot, add ginger and lemon pieces.
- Fresh ginger: 2 tablespoons
- Lemon: 2 pieces

Bring to a boil and reduce the heat to minimum. Let it sit for 5-10 minutes, then remove from heat and consume slightly cooled.

You can add honey to tea (only after it cools down!) and 1/2 teaspoon of dry ginger.
