Prepare the necessary ingredients.

Pour the wine into the pot.
- Red dry wine: 750 ml

Add cloves, star anise, pepper, and the zest of one orange. Bring to a boil and simmer for 5 minutes.
- Carnation: 1 piece

Peel the pears, leaving the stems.
- Pears: 6 pieces

Place them in wine syrup and boil for 20 minutes.
