Dietary syrniki are a light and healthy version of the traditional Russian dish that retains its rich texture and delicate dairy flavor. The history of syrniki goes back centuries when cottage cheese was a staple in peasant diets. In this recipe, traditional ingredients are complemented with rice flour and stevia extract, making the syrniki airy and low-calorie. They are perfect for a balanced breakfast or a light snack. During cooking, the cottage cheese turns into a soft dough that acquires an appetizing golden crust when fried over low heat. They can be served with berries, honey, or yogurt, enjoying the gentle sweetness and pleasant vanilla aroma. This recipe is an excellent choice for those who care about their health but do not want to give up traditional Russian flavors.
