Pancakes are a symbol of Russian cuisine, a traditional breakfast that brings comfort and warmth. Their history dates back to ancient times when they were considered symbols of the sun and joy. These morning pancakes turn out tender and airy due to the right combination of ingredients: eggs, flour, milk, and a small amount of baking powder. The slightly sweet taste with subtle notes of creamy milk makes them perfect for serving with jam, honey, or sour cream. Pancakes can be used as a base for various fillings – from fruits to meat products – making them a versatile dish for any taste. Serve them warm with fragrant tea or freshly brewed coffee while enjoying every bite of this simple yet beloved treat.
