Corn porridge in a multicooker
4 servings
40 minutes
Corn porridge is a symbol of coziness and home warmth, especially popular in Mexican cuisine. Corn, the basis of many Mexican dishes, has been revered as a sacred crop by the Aztecs and Mayans since ancient times. In a multicooker, this porridge becomes especially tender and creamy due to prolonged simmering. Its velvety texture with a hint of sweetness and creamy aftertaste makes it an ideal breakfast or hearty snack. It can be served as a standalone dish or combined with honey, fruits, or nuts. Its uniqueness lies in its simplicity of preparation and versatility — nutritious, warming, and bringing joy with every spoonful.
