Banana-vanilla pudding-custard is a delicate and aromatic dessert inspired by classic British traditions. Its origins trace back to the era when creamy custards became an integral part of English cuisine. The velvety texture is created by the combination of milk, eggs, and honey, while the addition of fresh bananas gives it natural sweetness and fruity freshness. The vanilla pod fills the pudding with a subtle, refined aroma, turning each spoonful into a true gastronomic delight. This dessert is perfect for both cozy home tea times and as an exquisite finish to a festive dinner. Serve it chilled for maximum enjoyment, while the caramelized base adds a light crunchiness that complements the softness and creaminess of the structure.

1
Heat the pan over medium heat.
2
Pour in water and add sugar, mix and let it cook until the mixture caramelizes. Divide this mixture between dessert cups and place banana 'coins' on top.
- Water: 5 tablespoon
- Sugar: 4 tablespoons
- Bananas: 1 piece
3
Heat milk with honey in a pan over medium heat.
- Milk: 500 ml
- Honey: 3 tablespoons
4
Add vanilla seeds from the pod to the milk. Also, temporarily throw in the pod itself. Stir and turn off the heat.
- Vanilla pod: 1 piece
5
In a bowl, beat the eggs and gradually pour in the milk mixture. Whisk well to prevent the eggs from curdling.
- Chicken egg: 4 pieces
6
Strain the mixture and pour it into molds. Cover everything with plastic wrap.
7
Place a large pot or pan over medium heat. Arrange all the molds at the bottom and pour water into the pot. Cook for about 20 minutes, but do not let it boil under any circumstances.
8
Remove the molds from the pot and let them cool slightly. Place in the refrigerator.
9
Take the pudding out of the molds and serve.
