Fluffy pancakes made with milk are a traditional dish of Russian cuisine, symbolizing home comfort and hospitality. Their history dates back to ancient times when pancakes were made during Maslenitsa to celebrate the end of winter. These tender, airy pancakes have a soft, slightly sweet taste and a subtle creamy aroma. Thanks to the baking powder, the batter becomes light, and the addition of milk gives them richness. They pair perfectly with jam, honey, or sour cream. Fluffy pancakes are an excellent option for a hearty breakfast or a cozy family tea time. They are quick and easy to prepare, and each pancake is a small work of art on your plate.
