Baked lavash with cheese, garlic, and herbs is a simple yet incredibly delicious dish from Armenian cuisine, perfect for family dinners or light snacks. Lavash, the traditional Armenian bread, becomes a crispy base here, while the filling of soft cottage cheese, aromatic cheese, garlic, and fresh herbs adds rich flavor and pleasant texture to the dish. In Armenian homes, such snacks are often prepared for festive tables or served with tea. The baked lavash turns golden and crispy while its filling remains tender and stretchy. This dish is easy to prepare and brings immense pleasure, especially when served hot straight from the oven.

1
Cut the sheet of lavash into 15 cm squares.
2
Grate the cheese on a coarse grater, crush the garlic in a garlic press, and finely chop the herbs (dill, parsley). Mix with the cottage cheese.
- Cheese: 100 g
- Garlic: 1 clove
- Green: 20 g
- Soft cottage cheese: 200 g
3
Place the filling on the lavash and fold it like an envelope.
- Armenian lavash: 2 pieces
4
Place the lavash on a baking sheet and bake in the roaster for 5 minutes (can also be baked in the oven or fried in a pan with vegetable oil).
