Syrniki with butter is a classic Russian dish full of comfort and tenderness. Its history dates back to ancient times when cottage cheese was a staple for Slavs. Syrniki are golden, slightly crispy on the outside and surprisingly soft on the inside, with a rich creamy flavor due to the butter. Their sweetness can be varied, and their perfectly balanced taste makes them a versatile dish: they are great for breakfast or dessert.
