Oatmeal with banana and fig-caramel sauce is a true delight for lovers of gentle and sweet breakfasts. This recipe harmoniously combines the creamy texture of oatmeal, caramelized bananas, and the rich fruity flavor of figs. It may draw inspiration from European traditions where oatmeal is a popular morning choice. The caramel sauce adds a warm depth of flavor while the fig brings a refined sweetness. It's best served hot with a sprinkle of coconut flakes for an exotic touch. This breakfast is not only nutritious but also aesthetic: the appetizing caramelized bananas in sauce turn ordinary oatmeal into a culinary masterpiece.

Heat a non-stick pan. Take one large banana or two small ones, and slice them into medium-thick rings. Add oil to the pan. Add the banana rings and fry for 1 minute on each side over medium heat. Transfer the banana rings to a plate and continue making the sauce. Add caramel sauce and figs to the pan and simmer on low heat until slightly thickened for 1-2 minutes. Return the bananas to the pan and stew for 1 minute on the same low heat, constantly drizzling them with the sauce. Remove from heat. Cover the pan with a lid and let it sit.
