Yeast dough pies with kefir are delicate, aromatic pastries with a slight sourness from the kefir. Originating from Belgium, they combine European traditions of airy dough with rich fruit fillings. Raisins, apples, and dried apricots create a rich flavor filled with sweet and tart notes, while a hint of lemon adds freshness to the filling. These pies are perfect for cozy tea times or family breakfasts. They can be served warm, enjoying the crispy crust and juicy filling. The simplicity of preparation makes them accessible even for novice cooks, while the harmonious combination of ingredients turns them into a favorite dessert for the whole family.
