Oatmeal with apple and cinnamon

The easiest thing you can do with porridge to make it lighter is to replace the milk with water or vegetable milk, but in this case, you should add fruits and spices to the porridge to make it less bland. Apple and cinnamon are oatmeal's best friends.

We pour oatmeal into a pot, add salt and a spoon of sugar. Mix, pour in water, and place butter on top. Cook on moderate heat. Stir the porridge while cooking. Once the oats absorb all the water, remove from heat. If your stove is very strong, this will take about three minutes.
- Oat flakes: 150 g

While the porridge is boiling, we cut half an apple into squares and place it on a plate. We sprinkle cinnamon on top and add a tablespoon of honey.

When the porridge is ready, transfer it to the apples with cinnamon and honey, and mix. You can top it with berries or mint.
