Draniki with minced meat

The perfect draniki, which will come in handy on the winter table, when you want nutritious food. In fact, it is a mini potato casserole, only cooked not in the oven, but in a frying pan. The minced meat can be beef or pork, but it would be good to have fresh thyme .

Prepare all the ingredients.

Peel the onion and grate it on a fine grater.
- Onion: 1.5 head

Grate the peeled potato on the same fine grater and add it to the onion.
- Potato: 600 g

Add egg, flour, and salt to the potatoes with onions. Mix until a runny batter like for pancakes is obtained.
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Wheat flour: 60 g
- Salt: to taste

Chop the remaining onion very finely.
- Onion: 1.5 head

Chop the thyme and parsley leaves finely as well.
- Parsley: 10 g
- Thyme: 1 sprig

Mix greens and onion with minced meat, add water, salt, and pepper.
- Minced meat: 200 g
- Water: 30 ml
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

In a pan, heat vegetable oil over low heat and spoon some potato dough into it.
- Vegetable oil: 50 ml

Make patties from the minced meat smaller in diameter than the draniki and place them on the draniki.

Pour the potato dough over the minced meat to cover it.

When the draniki turn golden on the bottom, flip them and cook until the other side is the same color. Do the same with all the dough and filling.

Serve the ready draniki with minced meat and sour cream.
