Place a non-stick skillet over medium heat and heat 2 tablespoons of vegetable oil in it. Add diced ham and fry until cooked. Transfer to a plate.

Put sliced onions, 5 mm thick, in the pan and sauté them over medium heat. Transfer to another plate.

Slice the potatoes into 5mm thick pieces, salt them, and fry for 15 minutes until golden. Mix the potatoes with ham and sprinkle with onion.
