Menemen with pepper

Menemen is a Turkish analogue of shakshuka. Eggs are broken into an already stewed aromatic mixture of tomatoes and sweet peppers. Recipe from the Eleven Meathouse restaurant.

Dice the peeled tomatoes and peppers.
- Tomatoes: 2 pieces
- Green bell pepper: 1 piece

Heat the pan and melt the butter.

Add the pepper and sauté for 6-7 minutes. Then add the tomatoes. Cover with a lid and simmer for another 5-8 minutes. Season with salt, sprinkle with pepper, and add spices.

Crack the eggs into a bowl and lightly beat with a fork.

Add the egg mixture to the vegetables. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes.
