Chop the onion into small cubes and transfer to a bowl. Add salt and pepper, mash the onion with your hands, and let it sit for 10 minutes.
- Onion: 500 g
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Salt: 1 teaspoon

In a separate bowl, lightly beat the eggs. Add them to the onion and mix.
- Chicken egg: 3 pieces

Add the sifted flour with baking soda and mix well.
- Wheat flour: 200 g
- Soda: 3 g

Fry the onion cakes on both sides in a hot pan with vegetable oil.
- Vegetable oil: 80 ml

Place the ready onion cakes on a paper towel to remove excess fat. Serve with sour cream.
