Cheese Cookies in a Minute

Cheese cookies in a minute are a simple yet elegant recipe that captivates with its delicate texture and rich cheese flavor. Originating from European cuisine, it embodies the tradition of using aromatic hard cheese in baking, creating a perfect blend of crispiness and softness. Light notes of melted butter add a cozy taste to the baked goods, while the addition of black pepper subtly enhances the cheesy aroma. These miniature medallions can be served for breakfast, used as a wine snack, or complement soups and salads. The simplicity of preparation makes them an ideal option for quick and sophisticated treats that delight guests and bring a warm, homey atmosphere to any moment.

1
The butter should be soft. Mix it with milk, then add an egg, cheese, and season with salt and pepper to taste (depending on whether the cheese is salty or not).
- Melted butter: 50 g
- Milk: 2 tablespoons
- Chicken egg: 1 piece
- Grated hard cheese: 140 g
- Salt: pinch
- Ground black pepper: pinch
2
Add flour. Knead the dough. Shape it into a sausage about 3 cm in diameter (I did this directly in the wrap). And put the dough in the refrigerator for at least 20 minutes.
- Wheat flour: 110 g
3
Slice into medallions about 5 mm thick and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
4
Send to a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 10 minutes.
