Panini with arugula and mozzarella is a true embodiment of Italian gastronomic simplicity and sophistication. Its roots trace back to the Tuscan tradition of making hot grilled sandwiches, turning ordinary bread into a crispy, aromatic base for rich fillings. In this version, fresh buffalo mozzarella melts between two golden slices of bread, creating a tender, creamy texture. Arugula adds a spicy bitterness while Parma ham brings noble meaty richness. Basil infused with olive oil adds light herbal notes, making the flavor harmonious. This dish is perfect for a quick yet refined snack – it can be served at lunch or as a hearty appetizer with a glass of white wine.
