Divide the ground beef into 4 equal parts and form round patties slightly larger than the buns. Place them on a plate greased with olive oil and put in the refrigerator. Thinly slice the onion into rings, place in a bowl, drizzle with vinegar, and add salt. Cut the gherkins and buns. Finely chop the lettuce leaves and mix with the other sauce ingredients in a bowl, adding salt to taste.
- Ground beef: 800 g
- Olive oil: to taste
- Red onion: 1 head
- Wine vinegar: 0.5 teaspoon
- Gherkins: 2 pieces
- Sesame bun: 4 pieces
- Iceberg lettuce: 0.3 head
- Mayonnaise: 2 tablespoons
- Worcestershire sauce: 1 teaspoon
- Brandy: 1 teaspoon

Place 2 pans on the heat. Fry 2 patties in oil over high heat for one minute on each side. Don't forget to salt the patties. Brush the fried side with 1/2 tsp of mustard and Tabasco sauce, then flip and fry the sauced side. Meanwhile, fry bacon in another pan over medium heat. Place the bacon on the fried patty and top with cheese. Pour a little water (1-2 tbsp) into the pan and cover to melt the cheese. Toast the bun halves in the bacon pan until golden brown. Do the same with the remaining 2 patties.

Assemble the burgers. Spread a quarter of the sauce on the bottom bun, place the patty with cheese and bacon on it, add a quarter of onion and a gherkin. Spread a teaspoon of ketchup on the top bun and press down on the assembled burger.
