Meat pie with egg is a traditional dish of European cuisine that combines tender meat, aromatic mushrooms, and buttery puff pastry. I cut the mushrooms (I take champignons) into large strips. We chop the onion into small cubes. In a well-heated pan, pour 2-3 tablespoons of olive oil and sauté the onion and mushrooms. Add salt and pepper.
- Fresh mushrooms: 200 g
- Onion: 1 head
- Olive oil: 50 ml
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste

Fry the minced meat until golden brown. If the minced meat is fatty, do not add any oil to the pan. Season with salt and pepper.
- Ground beef: 300 g

Mix the minced meat with mushrooms and add finely chopped dill. The filling for the pie is ready.
- Dill: 100 g

Boil 4 eggs and cut them in half lengthwise.
- Chicken egg: 5 piece

Roll out the dough (you can buy ready-made) into a square about 40x40 cm (to fit lengthwise on the baking tray).

The edges of the dough are cut about 10-15 cm from both sides towards the center. Half of the filling is placed in the middle. Halves of eggs are placed on top of the filling. Then another layer of filling is added. Using a spoon (or hands), we lightly press down the filling and start braiding. We alternately place strips first from one side and then from the other, trying not to leave gaps.

Beat one remaining egg with a fork in a glass. Brush it on the pie. Sprinkle sesame on top.
- Chicken egg: 5 piece
- Sesame seeds: 1 tablespoon

Place a baking paper on the baking tray and grease it with olive oil. Transfer the pie onto it.
- Olive oil: 50 ml

Bake in the oven for 40–45 minutes at 200–220 degrees.
