Green garlic butter is a fragrant and rich seasoning inspired by European culinary traditions. Its history roots back to ancient methods of preserving herbs and spices in oil to maintain their freshness and flavor intensity. The delicate butter infused with garlic aroma and dill freshness creates a harmony of flavors that enriches any dish. It is perfect for hot dishes—when melted, it adds softness, depth, and an appetizing garlic scent. Green garlic butter makes an excellent addition to baked potatoes, meat, fish, vegetables, or simply fresh bread. It's a little culinary trick that transforms familiar dishes into gastronomic masterpieces.

1
Take the butter out of the fridge beforehand to make it soft during preparation. I use the whole pack at once. Place the butter in a deep plate or bowl.
- Butter: 200 g
2
Wash the dill well, chop finely, add to the butter, mash well with a fork and mix.
- Dill: 1 bunch
3
Crush the garlic in a garlic press into a paste. It's important to mash it, not chop it, so there are no pieces of garlic in the finished oil. Mix with the softened butter.
- Garlic: 2 cloves
4
Place parchment paper in the center and wrap it like a candy. Put it in the freezer to freeze completely. Break off pieces with a knife for hot dishes or for reheating, for example, in the microwave.
