Cheese sticks made from lavash are a refined yet simple Armenian appetizer recipe. Lavash gently wraps melted cheese with aromatic notes of garlic and fresh dill, creating an amazing combination of textures – a crispy crust and a soft, stretchy center. During frying in butter, the cheese melts, infusing the sticks with a deep creamy flavor. This recipe embodies warm Armenian traditions where lavash plays a key role. Cheese sticks are perfect for festive tables as well as cozy family evenings; they are served with greens and sour cream, making the taste even richer and more harmonious.
