Crispy Meat Pies

Crispy meat pies are small culinary masterpieces that combine the rich flavors of European cuisine. Their thin flaky pastry, fried to a golden color, creates a crunchy shell that hides a juicy, aromatic filling of ground beef, fragrant spices, and sautéed onions with garlic. The taste of these pies is surprisingly balanced – the light sweetness of cinnamon and paprika harmonizes with the rich meat base, while cumin adds an Eastern spice. These pies are perfect as a snack or a hearty addition to lunch, especially when paired with fresh vegetables or spicy sauces. They are convenient to take on the go and make an excellent treat for warm family evenings at home.
