Cut the apple into large pieces without peeling or coring. If the spinach has tough stems, they should be removed.

Peel the celery stalk from the outer rough skin with a vegetable peeler and cut it into large pieces. Remove the seeds from the pear, discard the stem, and if the skin is very rough, it's better to remove it.
