Liver cake with carrots and onions

Somehow it happened that people like to make baked goods from liver. First pancakes, and now here is the liver cake famous in the Soviet space. It is so popular on our site that we couldn't help but include it in our "Golden Thousand.

Cut the liver into large pieces.
- Beef liver: 1000 g

Grind in a meat grinder or food processor to make minced meat.
- Beef liver: 1000 g

Add eggs to the minced meat and mix.
- Chicken egg: 3 pieces

Pour in the milk and stir again.
- Milk: 500 ml

Add salt, pepper, and flour. Mix thoroughly again. The consistency should be like for pancakes - liquid.
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
- Wheat flour: 350 g

Pour the liver into a well-heated pan (previously greased with vegetable oil) using a ladle. The process is the same as when making pancakes. The thickness of the layers should not exceed 5 mm.
- Beef liver: 1000 g
- Mayonnaise: 1 jar

Slice the onion into thin half-rings (or quarters if the onion is large).
- Onion: 2 pieces

Grate the carrot on a coarse grater.
- Carrot: 2 pieces

In a separate pan, sauté the onion until golden.
- Onion: 2 pieces

Add the carrot and continue frying for another 4-5 minutes, until the vegetables are soft.
- Carrot: 2 pieces

Assemble the cake. For this, place a layer on a plate, spread a thin layer of mayonnaise on it, then add a thin layer of onion and carrot, and place the next layer on top and so on. If there are many layers, for convenience you can make two cakes that are not very tall but easy to cut.
- Mayonnaise: 1 jar
- Onion: 2 pieces
- Carrot: 2 pieces
