Fish roll is a simple yet elegant recipe rooted in Russian culinary traditions. The combination of tender Armenian lavash, lightly salted red fish, and melted cheese creates a harmony of flavors: the softness of the dough and the spiciness of the fish complement each other perfectly. The light freshness of lettuce leaves adds extra juiciness to the dish. This roll is an ideal appetizer for a festive table or a cozy home dinner. Its main advantage is the simplicity of preparation and convenience in serving: after cooling, it can be easily sliced into portions. This dish can be served with lemon or a sauce based on sour cream and herbs to highlight its rich flavor. In Russia, such appetizers are often found at gatherings where convenience and taste are valued in every bite.
