Green rice is one of the vibrant and aromatic dishes of Mexican cuisine that impresses with its fresh taste and rich green color. Its roots trace back to the traditions of using cilantro and chili, creating a unique blend of spiciness and herbal freshness. The rice is cooked in chicken broth, absorbing depth of flavor and adding richness to the dish. A light garlic aroma, tender texture, and moderate spiciness make this rice an ideal side for meat dishes or a standalone treat. Green rice pairs excellently with roasted vegetables, seafood, and traditional Mexican sauces. It not only delights the taste buds but also adds a touch of southern flair to any meal.
