Liver with apples

Chicken liver becomes a little quieter and more interesting when it meets apples. By the way, if you want to use veal liver instead of chicken, it won't be any worse. A family recipe from the Efremov acting family.

1
Wash half of the apples, remove the core or cut into quarters for speed, arrange on a baking sheet, season to taste, and bake in the oven until done. Alternatively, they can be chopped smaller and fried in a pan. This will be a side dish for the liver.
- Apple: 8 pieces
2
Peel and core the second part of the apples, chop them, throw them into a dry pan, and set over medium heat. You can add a little water — it will evaporate anyway. Then, when the apple starts to break down and become soft, add the liver. Mix everything and simmer for a few more minutes. The apple will completely absorb into the liver by the end. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Apple: 8 pieces
- Chicken liver: 500 g
- Salt: to taste
- Ground black pepper: to taste
