Prostokvasha is one of the oldest fermented milk drinks, which has been an integral part of Russian cuisine for centuries. It was made in peasant homes using natural milk and simple starter culture. Pour good farm milk into a three-liter jar.
- Milk: 3 l

Ferment using 2 tablespoons of sour cream mixed into the milk.
- Sour cream: 2 tablespoons

Place the jar with the obtained mass in a warm place for 2-3 days.

When the milk sours, the whey will show transparent yellowish bubbles.

Sour cream is ready.
