Caprese with burrata

Caprese with burrata is the embodiment of Italian simplicity and elegance, where the freshness of ingredients plays a key role. Historically, caprese originated on the island of Capri, symbolizing Italy's national colors: red tomato, white cheese, and green basil. This version uses delicate burrata cheese with a creamy texture that perfectly complements juicy tomatoes. Fragrant oregano and olive oil enhance the flavor, providing a balance between sweetness and mild spiciness. It is best to serve caprese with burrata slightly chilled as a standalone dish or an appetizer to main courses. It’s an ideal choice for a light dinner or festive table when you want to taste the essence of true Mediterranean summer.
