Heat 2 tablespoons of oil over low heat in a pan. Add sliced onions and cook, stirring, for 15 minutes until soft. Add vinegar and brown sugar and cook for another 15 minutes until light brown. Remove from heat, add chopped cumin, and let cool.

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees and place a greased baking tray to heat. Cut out 4 circles of dough with a diameter of 10 cm and place the onion on them, leaving 1.5 cm empty edges.
