Squid in mustard is a refined dish of Italian cuisine that combines the tenderness of seafood with the spiciness of mustard. The origins of this recipe can be found in the traditions of Italy's coastal regions, where fresh seafood has always played a key role in cooking. Mustard gives the squid a special depth of flavor, while the crispy crust after frying adds textural pleasure. It is perfect as an appetizer or main course, especially accompanied by light white wine and fresh salad. This dish offers a harmony of taste – a combination of the softness of squid, the sharpness of mustard, and the light airiness of golden breading. Serving it hot allows one to enjoy all shades of aroma and flavor.
