Everything is classic: pastrami (roast beef or any other type of cold cuts can be used instead), mayonnaise, pickled onions and gherkin. We recommend serving with red wine.

1
Prepare all the ingredients. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees.

2
Cut the dough into squares with a side of 3 cm.
- Yeast-free puff pastry: 125 g

3
Transfer the dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Leave a small space between the squares. Cover with plastic wrap for 15 minutes.

4
Chop the dill finely.
- Dill: 10 g

5
Cut two gherkins into small cubes.
- Gherkins: 20 pieces

6
Mix chopped dill and gherkins with mayonnaise. Add pepper.
- Mayonnaise: 100 g
- Dill: 10 g
- Gherkins: 20 pieces
- Ground black pepper: to taste

7
Slice the pastrami into small pieces.
- Pastrami: 150 g

8
Remove the film from the dough and send it to the oven for 10-15 minutes until golden brown. Cool the puff pastries on a rack.

9
Place a folded slice of pastrami on the cracker, add some sauce and pickled onion. Top with a whole gherkin (or half if it's too big) and secure the canapé with a skewer.
- Pastrami: 150 g
- Mayonnaise: 100 g
- Pickled onions: to taste
- Gherkins: 20 pieces

10
Serve canapés with pastrami and gherkins at the festive table.
