Roll "Herring under a fur coat"

Boil the vegetables and eggs, cool them down, and peel. Slice the beetroot into thin slices 1.5–2 mm thick. Grate the potato and mix it with mayonnaise. Cut the carrot, herring fillet, and eggs into sticks.
- Beet: 300 g
- Potato: 250 g
- Carrot: 150 g
- Chicken egg: 2 pieces
- Mayonnaise: 150 g
- Herring fillet: 200 g

Wrap the makisu (bamboo mat) in plastic wrap. Layer slices of beetroot, a mixture of potato and mayonnaise, herring, carrot, and eggs evenly on it. Roll it up and shape it into a square.
- Beet: 300 g

- Herring fillet: 200 g
- Mayonnaise: 150 g

Cut the ready roll into eight equal parts. Place on a plate. Garnish with pike caviar.
