Ajili-ezme

Ezme is a traditional Turkish vegetable appetizer that also contains bell peppers. You will need half as much as tomatoes, but the pepper flavor is still very noticeable. Recipe from the Cihan Turkish Steak and Kebab restaurant.

Wash and dry all vegetables. Cut tomatoes into small cubes with a sharp knife. Finely chop the onion, pepper, and parsley.
- Tomatoes: 450 g
- Red sweet pepper: 200 g
- Onion: 80 g
- Parsley: 40 g
- Red chili pepper: 8 g

Place all chopped ingredients in a bowl. Add olive oil, pepper paste, salt, and spices, and mix thoroughly.

- Ground black pepper: 150 g
- Thyme: 2 g

If desired, a few drops of narsharab sauce can be added when serving.
