Tomatoes in Bacon

A fancy recipe in which cherry tomatoes are wrapped in thin slices of bacon. The bacon sets over the fire, creating a crispy crust, while the cherry tomatoes, on the contrary, lose their flesh, becoming a juicy filling. Recipe by Sergey Leonov, brand chef of the Khleb Nasushchny chain.

Take small cherry tomatoes, wrap them in smoked bacon, skewer them, and grill well on the barbecue.

I advise not to skimp on bacon: it should be really dry-cured and thinly sliced, and it should be adequately salty so that it can also salt the tomato. Tomatoes should not be eaten immediately; let them cool for 2 minutes, otherwise there is a risk of burning the mouth from the tomato juice.
- Bacon: 100 g
