Homemade Chicken and Cheese Quesadilla

30 minutes
Chicken and cheese quesadilla is a true Mexican classic that combines the tenderness of melted cheese, flavorful chicken, and a hint of spice. This dish derives its name from the Spanish word 'queso', meaning cheese, which is its main ingredient. In a hot tortilla, the cheese melts, infusing the filling with tenderness while the golden crust adds a crispy texture. Juicy chicken with onions, garlic, and tomatoes fills the quesadilla with rich flavor complemented by basil's aroma. Its simplicity makes it perfect for a quick dinner or light snack. Serving it with sour cream adds a pleasant creamy note. The best part? It's most delicious when hot and fresh off the grill.
