Pajeon is a traditional Korean dish that embodies the comfort and simplicity of home cooking. Historically, this type of pancake emerged as a street snack served on damp days at street stalls. The thin batter infused with the aroma of green onions creates a soft texture with a crispy crust. The pancakes pair perfectly with a spicy soy sauce that highlights the sweet flavor of the onions. This dish is suitable for both a light snack and a full lunch, especially in cold weather when one craves something warm and fragrant. They beautifully complement the table at friendly gatherings, inviting guests to enjoy the harmony of flavors where simple ingredients transform into gastronomic pleasure.
