Syrniki are a traditional dish of Russian cuisine with roots going back to ancient times. They are tender cheese pancakes with a golden crust, having a sweet taste with vanilla notes. Historically, syrniki were made for breakfast or as a dessert, served with sour cream, jam, or honey. Due to the simplicity of preparation and the health benefits of cottage cheese, this dish remains popular and beloved by many generations. Syrniki have a pleasant texture: slightly crispy on the outside and soft and airy on the inside. Ideal for a cozy family breakfast or light snack. This is true gastronomic classic that can evoke warm memories of home cooking.
