Yeast dough, tangerine and sugar tarts

Yeast dough pastries with tangerines and sugar are delicate baked goods with a rich flavor that combine the softness of the dough and the freshness of the fruit filling. This recipe is based on traditional Russian vatrushkas that have been made for family tea gatherings for centuries. The addition of tangerines gives the pastry subtle citrus notes, refreshing its taste. Sugar and honey harmoniously emphasize the sweetness of the cottage cheese filling, creating a perfectly balanced dessert. Vatrushkas are great with morning coffee or evening tea, filling the home with coziness and warmth. They are tender, slightly crispy on the outside and wonderfully airy on the inside. This treat delights from the very first moment with its aroma and taste, leaving a pleasant aftertaste and a desire to enjoy another serving.
