Cookies with powdered custard are a delicate and airy treat from Russian cuisine that captivates hearts with their softness and refined taste. The custard used in the dough gives the cookies a velvety texture and light vanilla notes. White chocolate adds sweet creaminess, creating a harmony of flavors. Historically, such cookies were popular in home recipes that aimed for simplicity and rich flavor. They are perfect for morning tea or coffee and can also serve as an elegant treat on festive tables. The ease of preparation makes it a favorite recipe for family tea gatherings, where the aroma of fresh baking fills the home with coziness and warmth.
