Place butter in a small pan or saucepan, melt over low heat, add crushed cookies (if replacing with breadcrumbs, increase sugar by 1.5 times), mix and turn off the heat.
- Butter: 50 g
- Cookie: 50 g

Peel the apples, cut them into small cubes or grate them.
- Apple: 2 pieces

Mix sugar with cinnamon and vanillin. Since there is little vanillin, mix thoroughly to ensure it distributes evenly.
- Sugar: 100 g
- Cinnamon: 0.3 teaspoon

Mix the butter with the cookie, sugar mixture, and rum. Pour the mixture into the apples and mix everything well. Optionally, add dried fruits, berries, nuts, and almond flour.

Spread the dough without removing it from the paper; it will help to easily transfer the roll to the baking tray or even place it with the paper. Spread the apple mixture on the sheet, leaving 5 cm at the edge, and distribute evenly. Carefully roll it up without applying pressure and turn it over seam side down.
- Puff pastry: 230 g

Bake in the oven on low heat for 40 minutes.

When the roll turns golden, take it out and sprinkle with powdered sugar through a sieve.
